I started my whole health pathway over 20 years ago through physical health. Over the years I discovered that physical health is just one piece of the whole, and I learned about nutrition, toxins, spiritual health and inner peace. I realized that if any piece of the puzzle is missing, then you are not completely healthy and happy. I also realized that I can't change anyone except myself, so I aspired to become an example and inspire others to change, with the knowledge that every positive thing that you do and think will have a good effect on you.
Without giving you can not receive, and this includes the most wonderful things like health and happiness and inner peace. That's why I started Health Angel, to encourage as many people as I can to make a positive change in their life.
When I realized how important correct nutrition is to nourish your body and spirit, and the direct connection between food and mood, I started to use food as an energy source rather than just to fill my stomach. I was lucky, and I never had any serious health problems, but when I do have any health issues I recognize it as an opportunity to learn. I believe that everything has a purpose, even the negatives in our lives. Studies show that our genes affect the diseases we get only 8% of the time — but 92% of the time we can control disease.
One of my inspirations, Peace Pilgrim, said "If you know but do not do, then you are a very unhappy person indeed... And if you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought!". We can not completely control our thoughts, but we can control our actions and reactions.
Following a healthy nutrition plan — and not a diet (which actually just means your way of eating) — and combining that with getting enough sleep, spending time with yourself, physical activity, and being in contact with nature is the way of lifelong health. It feels like you'll never run out of energy!
My mission is to encourage my clients to be mindful, love themselves as the unique person they are, and feel their inner peace. I am just a helping hand.
My vision is to see my clients happy and nourishing their beautiful body and soul — free from dieting, and free from putting their body under stress.
